  • PLANTING NATIVE HEDGEROWS, WOODLANDS & WIND SHELTERS:  In this 6 hours workshop you will learn why native woodlands make excellent winter shelters that enhance biodiversity and protect your garden. You will also learn how to lay and maintain hedgerows in a sustainable way.Tea/coffee provided, just bring a packed lunch.
  • INTRODUCTION TO ORGANIC GARDENING: Learn the basics of what’s involved in organic gardening in the South West of Ireland with Ian McGrigor, over 30 years of organic gardening experience. Tea/coffee provided.
  • POLYTUNNEL GROWING: Learn how to make the best of a polytunnel which could provide you with sustainable crops all year round. Tea/coffee provided.
  • CONTAINER GROWING AND UP-CYCLING: Learn how to up-cycle containers of all kind and how to grow your organic vegetables in them. Tea/coffee provided.
