Teacher Summer Course in Designing School Gardens
Monday 17th - Friday 21st August 2009KEEP will be running its annual teacher training course on Gortbrack this year. The second course runs from Monday 17th to Friday 21st August. Bookings are being taken through the Tralee Education Centre, 066/7195000.
Ballyseedy Day in the Woods
August 22ndThere will be a Day in the Woods in Ballyseedy on Saturday August 22nd, with a variety of workshops going on. KEEP will be there to do a workshop on 'Nuresery Schools' which is our primary school tree nursery project. KEEP will be demonstrating how to collect and plant seeds from trees and look at Wodland Ecology.
'How to make a Forest Garden'
Sat 8th and Sunday 9th August 2009This introductory weekend to permaculture focusing on how to make a forest garden with the reknowned Graham Strouts is coming to Gortbrack this summer, on Sat 8th and Sunday 9th August 2009.
